1. About Quantum Academy

1.1. Quantum Academy ("we", "our", "us") is a trading education platform operated by Quantum Trader, a sole proprietorship registered in England. Our platform is accessible at quantumtrader.life/academy.

1.2. We provide online trading education services including structured courses, interactive market event replays, AI-powered educational mentoring, community discussion, live streamed educational events, strategy development tools, and coding education.

1.3. Quantum Academy is NOT authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, portfolio management services, or trading signals. All content on our platform is strictly educational in nature.

1.4. Nothing on our platform should be construed as a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. Any references to financial instruments, prices, or market conditions are used solely for educational illustration.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1. To use Quantum Academy, you must be at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

2.2. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.

2.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password). You must not share your account with any other person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.4. You must notify us immediately at support@quantumtrader.life if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

2.5. We reserve the right to refuse registration, suspend, or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where we believe you have violated these Terms.

3. Educational Nature of Services

3.1. All content provided by Quantum Academy is for educational and informational purposes only. This includes but is not limited to: course materials, video lessons, live events, AI Mentor responses, market event replays, trade debrief analyses, strategy lab outputs, community discussions, and any other content accessible through the platform.

3.2. We do not provide:

• Personal financial advice or investment recommendations
• Trading signals, alerts, or instructions to buy or sell any financial instrument
• Portfolio management services
• Guarantees of any trading outcome or financial return
• Tax, legal, or accounting advice

3.3. Any market data, price levels, technical analysis, or strategy discussions presented on the platform are used solely as educational examples. They should not be interpreted as recommendations to execute specific trades.

3.4. Past performance of any strategy, approach, or educational scenario discussed on our platform does not indicate or guarantee future results. All trading involves substantial risk of loss.

3.5. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. You should seek independent financial advice from a qualified professional before making any trading or investment decisions.

3.6. Content generated by our AI systems (AI Mentor, event analysis, trade debrief feedback) is algorithmically produced educational material. It is not reviewed by a human financial adviser and should not be treated as personalised advice.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1. Access to Quantum Academy requires an active paid subscription. We offer multiple subscription tiers (currently named Core, Pro, and Elite) with different feature sets and pricing. Current pricing and feature details are displayed on our website and billing page.

4.2. Subscriptions are available in multiple billing periods: monthly, quarterly (3 months), semi-annually (6 months), and annually. The applicable price for each billing period is displayed at the time of purchase.

4.3. Auto-renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will be charged the same amount as your most recent billing period unless we have notified you of a price change at least 30 days in advance.

4.4. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

4.5. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge. If payment continues to fail, your access may be suspended until the payment issue is resolved. We are not obligated to provide access during periods of non-payment.

4.6. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. We will notify you of any price increase at least 30 days before it takes effect on your next renewal.

4.7. Promotional or discounted pricing is offered at our discretion and may be subject to additional conditions. Promotional pricing applies only to the initial purchase or specified period and does not guarantee the same pricing on renewal.

4.8. We may also offer optional add-on purchases (both recurring and one-time) that supplement your base subscription. Add-on terms and pricing are displayed at the time of purchase.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing page in your account or via the Stripe customer portal. No cancellation fees apply.

5.2. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your account reverts to an inactive state and you will not be charged again unless you resubscribe.

5.3. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. However, by subscribing and accessing digital content immediately, you consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel for that billing period.

5.4. Refunds are handled on a discretionary, case-by-case basis. We are not legally obligated to provide refunds for digital content that has been accessed. For full details, see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

5.5. If you subscribed but did not access any content within the first 14 days, you may request a full refund by contacting support@quantumtrader.life.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1. You agree to use Quantum Academy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Share, resell, or redistribute your account access or credentials
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our educational content without our express written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, download, or extract content from our platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users' accounts, or any part of the platform not intended for public access
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software
• Use the platform to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful or disruptive content
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose not expressly authorised by us
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access restrictions, subscription gates, or usage limits

7. Community Conduct

7.1. Our platform includes community features (forums, chat, chart sharing, polls). By participating in the community, you agree to abide by our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7.2. All community content must be educational in nature. You must not post content that constitutes financial advice, trading signals, or personal recommendations. Our automated moderation system enforces this requirement.

7.3. You must not harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other community members. You must not share other members' personal information without their consent.

7.4. We reserve the right to remove any community content and to restrict or terminate community access for users who violate these standards, without prior notice.

8. User-Generated Content

8.1. By posting content in our community (including text posts, chart annotations, comments, and poll responses), you grant Quantum Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the platform for the purpose of operating and improving our services.

8.2. You retain ownership of your original content. You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

8.3. We may remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. All content on Quantum Academy, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, audio, software, code, course materials, AI-generated content, and the overall design and layout of the platform, is owned by Quantum Trader or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of England and Wales and international treaties.

9.2. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view our content for your personal, non-commercial educational use only.

9.3. You may not record, screenshot, download, or otherwise capture our live events, course videos, or premium content for redistribution or commercial use.

9.4. The Quantum Academy name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are our trademarks. You must not use them without our prior written permission.

10. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

10.1. Our platform uses artificial intelligence systems to generate educational content, including but not limited to: AI Mentor responses, market event educational analysis, trade debrief feedback, and quiz questions.

10.2. AI-generated content is produced algorithmically and is not reviewed by a human financial adviser. While we strive for accuracy and educational value, AI systems may produce errors, outdated information, or content that does not reflect current market conditions.

10.3. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for any financial decision. AI-generated educational content is subject to the same educational-only disclaimer as all other content on our platform (see Section 3).

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quantum Academy, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity
• Any financial losses arising from trading or investment decisions, whether or not influenced by content on our platform
• Any damages arising from service interruptions, errors, or security breaches
• Any damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content

11.2. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in subscription fees during the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

11.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

12.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quantum Academy, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of our platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit to the platform
• Any trading or investment decisions you make

13. Termination

13.1. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to our platform immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that:

• You have violated these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• You have engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your account poses a security risk to our platform or other users
• You have failed to pay applicable subscription fees
• Continued provision of services to you would be commercially unreasonable

13.2. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We are not obligated to refund any prepaid subscription fees upon termination for cause.

13.3. Sections 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16 survive termination of these Terms.

14. Data Protection

14.1. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14.2. By using our platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14.3. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

15.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

15.2. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15.3. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to submit a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15.4. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of your country of residence if you are entitled to do so under applicable consumer protection laws.

16. General Provisions

16.1. Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, Risk Disclaimer, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Quantum Academy regarding your use of our platform.

16.2. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16.3. Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.

16.4. Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

16.5. Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet disruptions, or third-party service outages.

16.6. Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of our platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using our platform and cancel your subscription.

16.7. No Third-Party Rights: These Terms do not confer any rights on any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
